Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
If I could win a prize, that would be the best. Otherwise it’s perfect!

the twitter community was fun, and the mini-challenges were pretty cool this time.
How many books did you read?
    Six

Secrets of Sommeliers, Corduroy, Frumpy to Fabulous, Color of Magic, I Love Your Style, Food Rules

    Secrets of Sommeliers
If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
    N/A
How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
I’ll be reading again in April…. that’s like next week right?

Hours 18-19. That’s when I really started getting tired and actually fell asleep until the start of hour 23.

    2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year?
I recommend reading a few graphic novels. Easy and fast to read, plus it’s nice to read them in between novels as a sort of palate cleanser.

    3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Maybe if I could win something? That would be great!!

    4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?
I loved how prizes were offered if you participated, not just for completing the challenges.

    5. How many books did you read?
    4. I so wish I could’ve gotten more read.

    6. What were the names of the books you read?
This World We Live In by Susan Beth Pfeffer
Runaways: Parental Guidance by Brian K. Vaughan
The Trouble with Valentine’s Day by Rachel Gibson

    7. Which book did you enjoy most?
Probably This World We Live In, with The Trouble with Valentine’s Day as a close second

    8. Which did you enjoy least?
The Confessions of a Triple Shot Betty. Not sure if I couldn’t get into because of the storyline, or because I was so tired!

    9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
    n/a

    10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?
I’ll definitely participate next time as a reader!

  50. Jessicaon 14 Oct 2012 at 2:02 pm 50

Thank you so very much, organizers and co-hostess! What a fun event–and I am so sad it is over. :( It is amazing to me how fast the day goes when just sitting and reading. :) I took a much more relaxed view of things this go ’round due to some medication issues, and it was still so enjoyable.
Again, thank you for such a great time!
