I’ve finished three and 1/3 books and have am a couple of chapters into another book. (Finished – 1 book of poetry, 1 graphic novel, 1 nonfiction, the last third of a YA novel.)

And yep, it’s time for a snack. Trader Joe’s sea salt brownies are in order.

Hope everyone’s doing well – the cheerleaders are doing such a great job. I love them.

I am eating left over fried rice from lunch. Still working on my two books I have been reading but I think I am going to throw in another. Haven’t finished any but am making a big dent in them all. Keep reading everybody!

I’m now half way through Celia Friedman’s Feast of Souls. I’ve had a few setbacks and distractions to contend with but now that she’s sleeping I can get back to reading :P It’s 10pm here (GMT) and so the coffee begins in earnest! I think I’ll make myself a sandwich to keep me going too.

This hour I’m just drinking coffee while I start on book 4: The Good Neighbor by Holly Black.

It’s 4 AM here, so not in the mood to eat anything :) Maybe sleeping for a little while would sooth my mood ;)

Finished 2 1/2 books so far, currently reading Pure Dead Magic which is advertised as a cross between Lemony Snicket and Harry Potter, so far it’s very cute. I’m getting kinda sleepy though, as afternoon is naptime, so I need to move around some, and I think I’ll go bake some cookies! Yay for already prepared frozed cookie dough!

Yay, I won Kate’s challenge! Do I inform her about the prize or what since the mini challenge post she had says that the prize books are chosen from the prize list. :)

I am reading Guest House by Barbara Richardson. I have snacked morning and early afternoon and now am snacked out. Earlier had yogurt and cottage cheese, an apple, grilled chicken for lunch.

I’m on my third book and getting hungry fast. Will have to take a break for lunch soon. Probably will make myself a sandwich.

I’m eating chocolate. I’ve not finished any actual book, though I’m 82 pages into Middlesex, and 33 into The Art of War. But I’m fickle and keep taking side streets into fanfiction that I’ve had piled up in my inbox that I’ve been meaning to get to.

Well, lunch with the in-laws was at Chili’s. I had soup and salad — Chicken and Green Chile soup at that. Still reading The Ruthless Realtor Murders. All this family time has cut into my reading!

Currently working my way through a stack of picture books. I’ll stop in a little bit and switch to something with a bit more meat.

I’ve been just snacking all day, ready for something more substantial. Dates, Nut-thin crackers, cheese, bananas. Wish I could have some of those cookies, Shaunesay!

Started out with a non-fiction (When Someone You Love Is Depressed) because it’s been sitting on my shelf forever, but I think it’s definitely slowed my pace. Finished it and moving on to a few short stories before starting 100 Ways America Is Screwing Up the World. :D

I just started at 4pm CT…better late than never, I guess! So I will try to continue until 4 tomorrow, after the official end of it. We’ll see! Now off to read!

  22. Sandyon 10 Apr 2010 at 1:48 pm 22

I’ve read about 1 1/2 books…not too productive. I did take a shower and go to church, so now I am back and refreshed. I just snacked on a brownie, then may dip into some pizza for dinner!

  23. Sheila (Bookjourney)on 10 Apr 2010 at 1:56 pm 23

The link to Joy’s mini challenge is not right. It connects to her 2009 challenge. She has the 2010 one up.

  24. Andyeon 10 Apr 2010 at 1:58 pm 24

I’m starting The Dead Tossed Waves! Very excited! I’m eating lots of cookies~

  25. Kristen H.on 10 Apr 2010 at 2:00 pm 25

I’m now reading Numbers by Rachel Ward. I hate being on a diet because right now I could really go for some chocolate. Or some hot chocolate. My last meal was half a whole wheat bagel with light cream cheese and an egg white and cheese omelette.

  26. Bonnie Jacobson 10 Apr 2010 at 2:17 pm 26

During this hour I ate a couple of deviled eggs, which is something easy to prepare ahead of time. I may heat up a pizza later. The cat is sitting at my feet, telling me it’s time to feed her.

  27. Lisaon 10 Apr 2010 at 2:19 pm 27
