The idea that “the Boogey Man will get you” comes from the Boogey people, who still inhabit an area of Indonesia. These people still act as pirates today, and attack passing ships.

My daughter is still in emergency room but they are just waiting around for an ultrasound now–she said no one seems too concerned so that is good. I must be awake because I am in Mimi mode and don’t want to sleep through a little girl waking up.
