Hour 7 – With Her Nose Stuck in a Book
Oct 13th 2012Dewey ReadathonOctober 2012 & readathon

The disco craze began while I was in high school and we really don’t need to revisit that! :) So we move on to 1991. Madonna? Scorpion? D.J. Jazzy Jeff? No – Belle! I spent the 90′s raising kids – and watching Beauty and the Beast repeatedly. So, as far as I’m concerned, this is the soundtrack of the 90′s:

Hell
Ends
There, where you decide you are not
Unable, you are not weak, you are not
Broken, tired, dead.
Even when they hunt you,
Ride you, scare you,
Island of Mega Britain will hear your voice,
Dead will cheer your life, whispers and sighs
Echoing trough the tunnels.
Ride will take you further, to where
Sun can rise again.

Buried In Printon 13 Oct 2012 at 2:34 pm 16I was working in a shop during those years and we used to have to run the Disney movies on a loop, so for a time I knew every single word of each, but then it would be replaced by the next. I remember dreaming with the songs from the soundtrack appearing randomly in my dreams!
Thanks for being a host: enjoy the rest of your read-a-thon-ing!
