Read-A-Thon Wrap-Up
Phew! It’s just about a week after the Read-A-Thon began and I think I might almost be recovered. How about you? I absolutely love the Read-A-Thon and I’m so glad that all of you participated.
If you won a prize from our prize list and you haven’t claimed it yet, please make sure you do so by contacting 1330vblog at gmail by Sunday. That’s the deadline. We don’t want you to miss out! And to go along with that, we’re in dire need of prize angels, because as it stands right now, we don’t have enough funds to send all of the international winners their prizes. So, if you can spare a buck, please click the donate button below. Thank you!
We’ve already picked out the date for the next Read-A-Thon, so mark your calendars for OCTOBER 22, 2011. Noon, GMT.
We’re looking for volunteers for the marketing committee for October’s ‘thon, and we’re going to get going on that in about a month, making contact with as many people as we can to get the Read-A-Thon as much exposure as we can. So, if you’re talented and willing in these areas, please email deweyreadathon at gmail and let us know you’re willing to help.
Finally, the total number of books read and reported during the Read-A-Thon was 669. Whoa! You guys rocked it! The book read the most times was City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare, with 4 of you reading it. The entire list is embedded below, and next ‘thon, we’ll ask you for a little more information about the books. We’ll still keep it super-fast and super-simple though so that we don’t cut into your reading time.
THANK YOU for making the April 2011 Read-A-Thon a success! You guys rock!
♥,
Shesten
