Hour 3
Oct 9th 2010trishOctober 2010
So how’s everyone doing?! I can’t get around to all the blogs, so feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you’re reading and eating. I like to live vicariously through everyone else on the day of the readathon!
You’ll have WAY more interesting hourly posts from the hosts who will come after me. I’m not a morning person and my cinnamon rolls haven’t come out of the oven yet!

brandileigh2003on 09 Oct 2010 at 6:02 am 1I haven’t had anything to eat yet, and just got around to doing a few of the memes! I should do that. I have chocolate chip muffins waiting for me.
Beth(bookaholicmom)on 09 Oct 2010 at 6:05 am 2Your cinnamon rolls sound much better than the egg/cheese sandwich on whole wheat that I had. I was going for the protein but would much rather have enjoyed an cinnamon roll. Next readathon!
Andion 09 Oct 2010 at 6:06 am 3Yay! Several people have already put in their six-word celebrations. Keep ‘em coming!
Jillianon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:06 am 4Have fun everyone!! I didn’t sign up because I can only participate for part of the day, but I’m still loving the read-a-thon! I’ve never done one of these before.
Thanks to all for hosting.
Maggieon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:16 am 5I’m having so much fun so far. Had a breakfast while I was reading the first part of Love Stargirl! I’m so excited to see what everyone else is reading so far.
Lizzieon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:19 am 6Congratulations Virginie! The challenge looks fun. Laughing my way through my first book!
Mikaon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:21 am 7I’ve had lunch.
I ate a ham sandwich and some yellow soup. I think… Yellow-ish. It was good though. It was on the fridge.
Good luck everyone!
Anastasiaon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:25 am 8Congrats on winning, Virginie!
KwesiFriendson 09 Oct 2010 at 6:34 am 9Darn it takes me 20 minutes to think of my 6 Word for Read-a-Thon! Wahaha. Continue Reading!
Amanda R.on 09 Oct 2010 at 6:39 am 10I’ve had a cocoa and a granola bar and I’ve been reading Sharon Kay Penman’s The Sunne in Splendour!

Birgiton 09 Oct 2010 at 6:42 am 12I’m eating a combination of bagel chips, dark chocolate waffle cookies, and earlier I had veggies with ranch. Drink wise I had a bottled Frappacino, vanilla flavor and I’m currently making my way through a non-caffeinated Root Beer.
Reading wise, I’m going through New Grub Street by George Gissing – Yay for 19th century novels I need to finish for class and write papers on. I have three of these to read this weekend anyways, so reading them, but making breaks between them with more fun books.
Vasillyon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:48 am 13Save me a cinnamon roll!

A.M.Yon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:54 am 15Half way through The Search for WondLa by Tony Diterlizzi. I knew I should have taken a break at 9 a.m…. forgot all about the prizes and mini challenges!
I’ve moved to the “den” in order to keep better track of that stuff!
Allieon 09 Oct 2010 at 6:56 am 16I’m finishing up Lolita with some cinnamon oatmeal and a mug of English breakfast tea. Not too fancy here!
Sarah @ Loving Bookson 09 Oct 2010 at 6:58 am 17I just finished Touching from a distance and am making a cup of constant comet tea before I start How Did You Get This Number. So glad i’m finally getting to do this!
Julie @ Knitting and Sundrieson 09 Oct 2010 at 6:59 am 18Congratulations, Virginie!
I’m still on my first book, Mockingjay, but the reading time has been broken up by life for me .. still having fun with it, though!
Julie @ Knitting and Sundries
I’m about to make my mock screwdriver (orange juice and ginger ale) and grab 4-5 shortbread cookies to go with it!
MillyMarie (Imaginary~Dreamer)on 09 Oct 2010 at 7:01 am 19I feel like I’m reading a bit slower than usual. I’m only on page 104 ‘for one more day’ by Mitch Albom. Must be because I am also not a morning person. Now I remember where I got the craving for cinnamon rolls.
Lisa (starmetal oak)on 09 Oct 2010 at 7:07 am 20I’m reading Grimspace by Ann Aguirre! It’s going well so far.
Lexion 09 Oct 2010 at 7:24 am 21I ate cinnamon rolls this morning, too! YUM!
La Bella Vitaon 09 Oct 2010 at 7:48 am 22Reading at a slow pace. My toddler is still up. Reading Perfect Switch by Plumley.
