Jordanon 10 Apr 2010 at 9:34 pm 14I am raising money for the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foudation. It is a rare genetic disorder that affects the connective tissues in the body. It causes cardiovascular and skeletal abnormalities. It was only founded in 2005 but of all its related disorders including Marfan Syndrome (more well known) it is the worst you can have. My sister had this disorder and was only 16 when she died from complications to an open heart surgery on Christmas day. Our friend who is only 14 has already had 26 major surgeries in her life, my sister had had 16 with a stroke and three seizures.

Even though I’m only a young teenager I have donated to the foundation and educated others in the community. For every page i read I will donate 10 cents. Sad thing is, i read slow
