Hour 12

Dude.  Do you realize you’re almost half-way there?  There will be no giving up.  None.  You hear me?  Keep reading the good fight.  I’m giving you some inspiring music here to help you get pumped.  Look at your pile of books as you sing along and substitute “read” for “rock!”  Hey while you’re at it, get up, move around, shake your bootay, get some blood flowing, get your game face on and get ready to conquer the second half of this Read-A-Thon!

Mini-challenge

It’s time for the mid-event meme!  Post your answers on your blog and then come back here to leave your link!

Mid-Event Survey:
1. What are you reading right now?
2. How many books have you read so far?
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
9. Are you getting tired yet?
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Sign the linky below with a link to your post with your answers.  There will be 4 winners: 1st gets 1 prize packs of books, along with chocolate coins, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th get three books of their choice.  This is only open until the beginning of Hour 14.

@Collette – Sometimes the Mr. Linky will use a cookie to remember the title you’ve given previous links, so you have to scroll to the end to delete the title you’ve left before. Annoying, right? Oh well. Something we live with in the blogosphere :( Anyway, I checked the link and it’s taking me to the correct site where I can see that you did the survey, but if you’d like me to delete the first entry so that you can fix the title, I’d be more than happy to help!

Trying to keep away from the computer especially twitter, #readathon really sucks you in and I want to read! Though does reading twitter updates count?

  35. Icedreamon 10 Apr 2010 at 3:58 pm 35

I have tried but I have realized I have no contact info on Mama Librarian and the DeweyReadathon@gmail doesn’t work, it says incomplete address when I type it in my hotmail account. I’m perplexed and in need of assistance.
    Thanks:)
