The October 2009 round of Dewey’s Read-a-Thon is officially over!

    I had a lot, a lot of fun. Thank you guys so much for doing this. I didn’t spend all 24 hours reading :( and did sleep for the full seven hours but maybe next year I will manage better.

    I had a great time and finished more books this time around and more pages! Yipee. I did take a nap in the midst of read-a-thon, but woke up early this morning to finish up my final book.

    Thank you for all your hard work and organization!! This challenge truly rocks! I tried to stay up as late as I could, but fell asleep right in the middle of Hour 16 (11:30 central time). I still had a blast spending the entire day reading and blog-hopping. Looking forward to the final posts.

    It’s the next morning and I’ve slept through the night though I did finish the book I was in the middle of first thing. This was really fun! Thank you for hosting, the mini-challenges, the cheerleading and all the work that went into it.

    Thanks so much to the organizers and the volunteers. I had a grand time and now that I’m not pushing myself to spend *so much* time reading books, I’ll take time to visit the blogs of many of the participants to pick up ideas for how I can organize myself better when the next one comes around.

    Thanks to all the organizers and volunteers for a wonderful Read-A-Thon. My whole family participate – that’s five adults and two children. We turned it into a family holiday and we all agreed we want to do it again next time. So, a big THANK YOU from my family to all of you.

    This is a great idea, and I’m sorry I missed it this month! I’ll definitely be participating in April; by then I’ll have my book review site launched.
