Hour 2

Did you see that we have 361 people signed up to participate in the read-a-thon? Isn’t that awesome?!

Also, I inadvertently forgot to mention in the Welcome post that Eva from A Striped Armchair is one of our co-hosts! It’s all fixed now, but thank you Eva for helping us out!

We’re off to a slow start with mini-challenges so that you can focus on reading, but it’s going to be super busy later today! Just a warning. :)

Our first blogger-hosted mini-challenge is being hosted by Word Lily. Her mini-challenge is Trending on Twitter, and the winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the bookstore of the winner’s choice. This challenge is only open for one hour, so hurry up and do eet!

    This is my first read-a-thon in my adulthood. The last one I remember was in elementary school when we brought sleeping bags to school and wore our pajamas. Oh and our teachers gave us a pizza party at lunch time…it was tons of fun.

    This is my first time participating as well! (at least officially. Last April I wound up cheering some of my friends on and reading a bit because of the atmosphere, but I never signed up officially. I don’t know if that disqualifies me, but if it doesn’t… I’m in!)
