Hour 7

Apr 18th 2009April 2009 & readathon

This hour we decided to give a prize to one of the reader participants. Random.org chose MandaNikole from Literary Mumblings! Congratulations! You’ve won a box of Earth Day books from Hachette. Please email Hannah (wordlily at gmail) to claim your prize.

This hour’s challenge is to TAKE A WALK. It will revive you, I promise! When you take a walk, take a picture of what you see and post it on your blog. Come back and leave your link in Mr. Linky. If you don’t have a camera available to you, describe what you see. What’s the weather like? Is anyone else outside? Do you live in the city or the country? You don’t have to answer these questions, they’re just suggestions for things to mention if you don’t have a camera.

This challenge will only be open for this hour, Hour 7. We will pick one winner and announce that winner in Hour 9. The winner will receive a $15 gift card to Amazon.

    It’s pouring rain and pretty cool out there right now – a sad break for the elementary school down the street that planned a big outdoor carnival to raise funds for the school today. I think I’ll get on the stationary bike for 30 minutes, instead, because I do think it’s time to move around a bit.
